Silkie Egg !!!!

YAY !!! I got my first Silkie egg !!!
But... I found it on the floor just inside the door. Will she start laying in the nest? Or is there something I can do to get her to lay in the nests, (once I figure out who). What is the best nest set up for silkies ?

Wow! That’s always eggciting! Maybe try placing fake eggs or even golf balls in the nests to promote nest-box-laying might help! Congratulations on the first Silkie egg!!

Congrats on that 1st egg

I haven't raised Silkies but have read they need a box set low in the coop. Agree with placing fake eggs in the box, that can help her figure out where she should be laying!
