hi, I am a first-timer at incubating (besides when I was around 5). I started with 12 silkie eggs and now have 10 going into lockdown day 17.
I removed my eggs from the egg turner and removed the egg turner, I then candled my eggs and drew the air cell on with a led pencil. I then put the eggs back into the already running incubator. I got the temp and humidity just right and woke up around 2 am and decided to check on the incubator. I being half asleep picked it (the incubator) up to see if the loud noise it was making was a vibration from the desk. only after picking it up did I realise my stupid decision, I quickly but gently put the incubator down and turned on the light. all the eggs had rolled to one side
I quickly opened the lid and placed them apart again. there were no cracks in the eggs but I am worried I got nearly all the way through to the hatch and messed it up.
Has anyone experienced this kind of experience and what was the hatch's success?
