Silkie Experts or anyone's opinion

Hi everyone... My husband and I got two silkies a couple of weeks ago... I am not quite sure how old they are, but the black one I think is a female, and I think the grayish colored one is a rooster. Neither of them really like people, but the black one is a little nicer.

I was wondering what your opinions were Please and Thank you

i think your prolly right about the sexes and i would guess 4-5 weeks old. if you handle them alot they will get better. they may kick and scream but your tough love will pay off in the end. so grab them evry chance you get and hold them, hand feed them and cary them around with you. the more you do it the freindlier they will get. I got 2 that were terified of people and now they are lap chickens.

I'm still learnin about Silkies, but I'd say you are spot on. Maybe an eggspert will reply.

Well I guess it's a waiting game.. but I think you are right.. if I give them lots of attention now maybe they will be more friendly
