I have 3 chicks in which 2 of them I am thinking about selling them. And am curious if anyone can guess there sex. They are 8 weeks old now. I know silkies are hard to sex at this early of an age.


Thinking this one is a male. It already has a pretty pronounced comb for this age.


Due to the poof on this ones head I am thinking female.


Not sure on this one. I am thinking male due to the slicked back looking hair. It doesn't have quite the comb yet as the first one. Thus why I am stumped if it's a girl or boy.

If I was guessing, the only one that looks female is the middle one, and I'm almost positive it is. The last one looks to be more likely a girl than a boy, and the first one looks to be more likely a boy than a girl. :/

Yes, I figured the middle one was a female. But the black on has me stumped. Could be either or. I guess will have to wait a little longer. But because the first pic he already has a somewhat large/pronounced comb I figured boy.
