Here is a photo of Sugar and the first two to hatch. The 3rd chick is a solid light smoky gray with black beak, skin, feet. The 4th chick, which I have not gotten a photo of yet, is not anything like a Silkie. It is striped yellow and brown with a yellow beak, yellow feet, etc. It is a very feisty little bird. Will post more as I shoot them.

Do you think those little black chicks could be the offspring of a solid black Silkie and a smoky blue/gray Silkie? Sugar hatched the eggs of my other Silkies...I think hers were in that first batch of 14 that went bad and had to be thrown away. I thought sure I would get at least one white one, but I love all my Silkies and they are all such lovely, sweet little birds!
