Silkie fused toes

Hello!
I'm just very curious what affect a silkie with fused fifth toes will have when showing. I looked in my 2014 American bantam standard book, but it does not mention fused fifth toes. I'm wondering whether it's a disqualification or a fault. Or maybe it has no affect on judging at all, I really don't know

I was disappointed when I got my first silkies, 2 had this problem, I’m not really sure what causes it, maybe genetic

Yep, it's due to a common genetic mutation. But I'm just curious to if it affects judging or not.

I don't think it would be a disqualification. But it would be a fault and points would be deducted. Not a good candidate for showing or breeding in my opinion. Its likely a genetic defect and could be passed on.
