Ok, I admit it... my stress over sexing these Silkies has gotten the better than me and I am turning into a statistic... has anyone ever counted the total number of obligatory silkie gender help posts? Yikes!

I would appreciate any thoughts you might have on the gender of my 18 week old Silkies. They came from MyPetChicken as "sexed" pullets. So far I have had two (not in these pictures) confirmed, crowing roosters out of that batch plus another couple of suspects. Over all, these four have been very mellow and harmonious. No chest bumping or rooish behavior other than the splash (sold as a lavender) getting a little bit protective if one of the others gets upset while I am holding them.

There are four birds pictured: 1 splash, 1 buff/red, 1 partridge, 1 black

Thanks so much for you help!!!

only one looks rooish to me is the splash others r all pullets for sure. the wattled one is a nonbeared others r all beared. the splash looks roo to me to except the last pic of it there it looks girly so if any r it would be that one and i'm pretty sure it is a roo but not 100%.

it has a different look to it's face, has start of red wattles and reminds me of my roos to much so i have to agree i think peeps is right on that one but it's an iffy to watch and see.
hope that helps,
silkie
