Silkie gender? Is it possible to tell?

This is Sparkles. It is 10 weeks old. Any clue??



What are the tell tail signs besides eggs and crowing?

It takes a while to really just be able to tell by picture (I think pullet) but silkies are a bit harder because they don't have those hard feathers that other breeds have that differentiate color and the sharp tail and cape feathers that they have. I've noticed that size, the shape of the crest often can give it away.
