This is Lil Pecker. I am feeling like he is probably a cockerel, which is fine. I am not disappointed either way, but he is showing some male characteristic. He will 9 weeks old on Tuesday.

Thanks in advance for any input! I figured I wouldn’t know for sure until he crows or she lays and egg, and that’s fine. Just thought seeing what others think would be fun!

I'd give it some more time because the comb seems kind of in between. It's cute no matter what gender it is. Hoping its cross beak won't become a problem later on for him/her with eating. Keep an eye out for that,

Thanks for the response! I don’t think he actually has cross beak, his beak is straight. If you are referring to the second photo, it’s cottage cheese that makes his beak look cross.

(Now I need to go double check and make sure I haven’t missed something though! Ha! Great eye, if that is the case…..but I am pretty sure it’s just food that makes it appear that way in the photo. ☺️)

It's probably just the cottage cheese. Didn't notice that! I like the picture of him/her chomping down on that crab leg.
