So we have a small coop, but the have an OK space in the run. I recently put a carport over the entire thing and got rid of the tarps over the run.winter is coming and I see so many people talking about wrapping with clear plastic? My carport also came with walls that are not currently attached. The windows are mesh but have the ability to close completely, and all sides can be enclosed, but If I add the walls will I need to do anything else? Also to add, the grass is actually green where the free range in the yard when we are home to supervise. We just didn't want to have the sprinkler hitting this area, that is why it is so yellow.

Knowing your general location, climate and projected temperatures would help.
OK, sorry I forgot to include that! Huge factor! Pacific Inland Northwest. Think WA/ID border about 100 miles south of Canada. We have had milder winters for a few years, but projected to be cold with less snow this year (I'll believe it when it happens). But this is the "average".

So not too dissimilar from my temps. Wish I had more up to date photos (as I now have a bigger coop and netting overhead), but this is a typical mild winter's day in my run, not sure how that compares to your weather:

So I don't winterize at all, other than plugging in my heated waterer to keep it liquid. Unless your area gets a lot of wind or wind blown sleet and snow wrapping the run is optional IMO.
