Silkie has build up on beak

5 month old silkie was sick with a respiratory infection, while she was quarrantined I noticed that her beak had what I thought was snot build up, so I applied warm cloths to her and took some tweezers to try and pick it off..well it immediately started to bleed so I lifted no more. It stopped bleeding quickly but it’s still there after a week and might be getting bigger. Any ideas ?

Probably fowl pox. It should heal up within 6 weeks.

Nothing, messing with the sores can spread it. It's a virus, so no treatment will help.
