silkie has feathers missing on neck

hey all

I bought a pair of silkies from a local breeder at a flea market... When I got home i saw that she has feathers missing on her neck . I can see her skin.. Is this an injurie or was she bred too mush???? and how can I help her regrow her feathers

Sounds like she either lost those feathers or she's a Showgirl. Pics would help best if you can get some.

I'm not sure on the full genetics, but basically a Showgirl is a silkie crossed with a Naked Neck? The bare neck would just be genetics.
