I'm not Silkie expert, but that doesn't really look like a Silkie. I see no signs of a crest, beard, or muffs, and the chick doesn't seem that small and/or fluffy. Also, (at least that I can see), there are no feathers on the legs--leg feathering is an important Silkie characteristic. How many toes does it have? Silkies should have five, although some don't. Its way too young to tell the gender; many times you'll have to wait until a Silkie either crows or lays an egg before its gender is made clear.

Not all silkie chicks have a vaulted skull and beard/ muffs. I can see a small 5th toe on the one foot, and the lack of shank feathering. Might be a silkie cross, or a hatchery silkie.
