silkie he or she ?? hmmmmm

I recently got this little Silkie for a companion to my 10 month old silkie hen. She/he is about 5 1/2 months. The breeder was a young college kid who was breeding various types and colors of silkies. This one baffles me because my other silkie I knew at a fairly early age. this one clucks and follows my hen around the yard and shows no sign of wanting to crow. although I'm not sure the actual age roo silkies start with that. this one has characteristics of both male and female, but don't they all lol anyways if someone can help me out I would appreciate it.

My guess would be a pullet. I am basing this off of the comb and the head shot in the second picture. It looks like a perfect little poof on top. I didn't see any streamers. But that's just my guess, I'm still new at raising silkies.
