[/VIDEO] Anyone have any idea what this is on the feathers of my silkies head? I do not see any type of mites or any moving thing.

Did he recently go thru a molt? Those look to be shaft casings which are shed during a molt.

Now that you say that, it is what it looks like. He's 8 months old and he hasn't had any other signs of molting. Just started crowing and getting interested in courting my 4 large hens and they brush him off like he's a pest! Really hilarious!
