one of my silkies isn't doing well. I noticed she didn't come out of their coup yesterday and today so I took the back wall off to take her out and she was barely moving. We brought her in, and have her under a heating pad I think when the cold blast came through she might have pneumonia. We are dropper "feeding" her water to hydrate her she is fighting against up but we are worried she won't pull through the night. Right now we cannot afford to take her to the vet our well is broken and we have to shell out $1000 right now which we don't have.

Any at home remedies we can start her on?

Electrolytes--1 tbsp corn syrup, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 pinch salt, 1 pt. water. It's better than water.

if you can supply a low-iron poultry vitamin supplement, that would be good as well.

Don't force-feed. If she refuses to eat, ask casportpony how to tube-feed, because they can easily choke.

Good luck. I hope she pulls through.
