My 1 year old silkie hen has had its prolapse falling out the last 4 days. I immediately took her to the vet as soon as the problem occurred. I know how to take care of the prolapse but she is now not eating, my main problem. She hasn't touched her food and her crop is empty ;( . Her poop is runny and lighter colored. I only realized today about her not eating. I love her soo much and I'm scared she will die. Please help me out, I don't know what to do!

What did the vet do? Is she on antibiotics? If the prolapse keeps coming out then she can't get better. I had a hen that prolapsed and I had success with keeping it in with honey! You can read about that here:

BTW, that hen is still around and laying.
Hens can survive a long time without eating, it is drinking you need to worry about. You can try to put dropperfuls of water or gatorade (children's pedialyte is good, too) in her mouth. Take care to let her swallow so it doesn't go into her lungs.
Good luck.

Make sure you get her to drip water, even if she hates it.When my silkies won't come off the nest i go and get them and dip their beaks into water. Then they eat and go back.Yours may not be the same problem but i think you should dip her beak in water because then they feel something cool on their beak and they may drink more.

Thankyou guys for the help. I'll try the honey and drip water. The vet didn't say anything about not eating, as that's the problem. The prolapse injections helped her to keep it in. I still don't know how to get her to eat though!

Update:
I have been encouraging her to drink water by putting her beak in it, and she will sip some. I let both the chickens out together for the first time since the sickness occured. The prolapse has stayed in all day now! She is looking healthier, still not eating much though. Her feathers around the vent are starting to go back to normal and she is being more active!
