Silkie hen x Speckled Sussex roo

I don't know what silke chicks look like, but these look slightly fluffier around the head than a Sussex.
So maybe they will have the fluff on the head like a silke, when they are grown up?

They are bigger than a silkie chick, at least twice the size. Big poofballs, but they are purebred white silkie roo x purebred speckled sussex hen. And they are the only brown eggs let alone silkie chicks in the incubator.
They will definitely be a bigger bird than silkie but hoping they will be shaped and feathered like a silkie... While a resemblance to Sussex coloring or a pattern.
Will post pics when they start getting bigger.

I know this is an older thread, but I had just hatched out 3 chicks that are from a white silkie roo over a speckled sussex hen. I have more eggs in the incubator from them as I hatch weekly.
She was getting picked on so i set her in a pen to recover and about 2 months later I decided she needed company and had an extra silkie roo. So glad I grabbed the eggs and set them lol
Hubby thought I was crazy but these babies are gorgeous.
I had stopped hatching any silkie at this point so I know for a fact these are from this pair.
I have 2 chicks that are identical and look like just like a speckled sussex chick but the third is from the same hen and roo but a bit different. It's markings are lighter and not as pronounced as the other 2. All 3 have feathered feat and 5 toes. Can't wait to see what they grow out to.
I have pics but this is my first post and still trying to figure out how to post pics on this. Once I do, I will update!
Do you have pictures of them now, I just put the same in my incubator and can't wait to see them?
