Silkie Hen

So my silkie hen is 7 1/2 months old. She started laying eggs at 6 months but she stopped laying about 4 weeks ago. Why is she not laying any eggs?

Silkie hens are notoriously broody, so your hen may be broody. Other than that she may be stressed, dealing with a parasite infestation, sick, hiding her eggs, losing them to a predator (mouse, squirrel, crow, snake)... here are some more causes and details:

Thanks for the reply! Every once in a while she will sit in the best box at night but not during the day! I will just leave her alone and see when she goe broody!
