Silkie Hens?!

I went to the fowl auction Saturday, and I bought two Silkie "hens." Then later, this guy talked me into getting a rooster for them.

When I got home and looked them over, I was sore blue because the hens looked like they had spurs???? (I'm still confused about this).

I know they have the 5 toes or whatever, but in the same place as the rooster they have little "knots" sticking out. Very small but still there!

I've raised many Bantams, but these are my first Silkies.


Anyway, I just walked out to check in on them, and guess what........

but some hens can and do have spurs so

Most of the Silkie hens of mine have little "knots" sticking out. Could feel sharp points on the knots on some roo's around 5 months. I also have a one year old roo with just little nubs?
