I have an 11 week old silkie. This morning, it appears like she is having difficulty lifting her head. Any picture I get of her just looks like she’s pecking the ground. She seems to be moving ok, no signs of injury, but she’s not lifting her head properly. It looks almost as if she’s tripod sleeping like chicks do or constantly looking down. When I feel under her fluff, it feels like her neck is strongly bent down, even when I put her on her back. When I put food on the ground, she perked up and is eating, but still isn’t lifting her head. Her primary food is medicated chick starter. Could this be wry neck? Something else? What can I do for her??
Edit- she’S backing up and scratching at her chest with her beak. She’s got her head almost completely under her when she does that. She’s done that a couple of times.
