Marshmallow has finally laid her first egg since being broody and it was completely white! Before she went broody she laid light cream colored eggs, but this one was all white. Is this because she is just getting back into egg laying?

It is next to Marshmallow's sister's egg that she laid today.

Likely because she is coming back into lay. Color is "applied" in the shell gland, so she may be working out the kinks again.

Doesn't look too far off from light cream to me, could be the lighting in the photo (my monitor?), but it's not stark white like a white egg layer's eggs can be.

The eggs that lay in their uterus when they are broody loose their light brown tint since they are in there for a long periods of time
Ummm...I do not believe that broodies hold an egg in their uterus while brooding.

This is a 'start up' glitch, just like when they first start laying,
things will smooth back out after a few eggs.
