What age do Silkie pullets usually start laying?

White. I thought I read that Silkies mature a little slower than most breeds and lay later also.

The better the quality of silkie, the longer it takes to mature. Buckbeak, my first silkie (also a white) will be 8 on 2 July. She is still laying regularly. Hasn't gone broody in a while, though.
