Silkie Looking egg being layed no silkie hen

I have been collecting what looks like a silkie egg in size and colour steady for the last several weeks. However I do not have a silkie hen. I did hatch a batch of eggs last fall and I have a Silkie Roo as well as an EE Roo is it possible one of the hens from this batch was sired by the silkie roo and is laying what looks like a silkie egg even though she shows no other silkie traits. Has anyone seen this before.

Definitely possible. The fun of barnyard mixes. If she has just begun laying, they may get larger in time.
