Silkie mix??

His skin is yellow and is feet and beak aren't black like my 2 other silkies. But who knows. He's an aggressive little guy. He pecks my other male Silkie. The funny thing is the Silkie that gets pecked is a little bigger than he is. My guess is he hasn't matured as quickly.

He could be a really poor bred silkie, or someone's chicken breeding experiment that didn't have the results that was wanted.

Yeah, he's had mixing going on. Still pretty, but you'd be better off breeding a blue skinned male if you want Silkie chicks.

Another possibility is he's a Cochin based Show silkie, like mine which aren't exactly Silkies. Pretty much just Cochins with silkie traits, & usually end up having lots of flaws.

My black silkie who I got from a Show silkie breeder has poor skin color, it's almost white, but his shanks are black, face is mulberry though.
