Here's Snow White

and Mary Poppins (I know she's not a princess, but she's awesome, so sue me :)

Obviously, ours are too young to know for sure if they're boys or girls, but, as sourland pointed out, we've been optimistic and given them girl names.
That's cute. I like naming the lightest colored one Snow White. My granddaughter went the opposite direction with ours. She named three of our darkest ones Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan, and Tiana because those are the three princesses (technically Mulan is not a princess) which have black hair. The lightest of our hens are Aurora, Briar Rose (another name for Aurora; we have some who are not princesses as well, because you have to do something when you have more hens that princesses), :o) Cinderella, and Rapunzel because those are princesses with blond hair.

We're glad to have you.

If I had Silkies, I'd probably name them Puff, Fluffy, or Princess.

Hello everyone, I've found some new names for my chickens and have done a poll, separate one for hens and roosters. So I would love it if everyone could participate in the poll. Thanks.

For the poll I have 3 hens and 1 rooster so I would only like for everyone to vote 4 times. 3 times for the hens and once for the rooster please. I have voted in my own poll and I had some pretty tough decisions to make but I went for the ones that sounded appealing to me.
