Silkie not preening

My silkie bantom isnt preening her feathers, i only realized this when i went to a farm and looked at her silkie chicks and saw that their feathers were like normal. My silkie is still little and im just wondering if i should attempt to preen her since she isnt appearing to do it herself, and how to safely preen. I would hate to damage or hurt her in anyway and lose trust i build up over the past few weeks.

Her wings were not preened but now they are. Its just her feet and tail feathers. But it still took some time.

I wouldn't suggest you preen for her but if she let's you touch her head. You might be able to very gently rub and slowly pull them out. However her pin feathers are the feathers only supply of blood and if you break a non finished pin feather, it will start to bleed and she could die of blood loss, so just be careful if you do help her preen.
