Silkie or part how can I tell...

I ordered some eggs of Ebay. They were Pure silkies with the possibility of a mixed one or two. I think they had a Buff polish hen and Cochin hen and a Frizzle hen the rest of the hens and all the roos were Silkies. Do I have to wait until they are fullgrown to figure out if they are pure or not? I only had 2 make it to hatch out of 8.. They are still in the bator but both have five toes and black skin... (ignore the white one that is one of the White Cochins that were set to hatch)

They look pure silkie to me at this point. But you may need to wait a bit to see if any other characteristics show up. But looks good as of now.

they have to have two copies of the silkie gene to have silkie feather So if they have a different momma they will be normal feathered. cute cute cute

 

[Sonoran Silkies]

At about a week or so the tips of the wing feathers will start opening up. In another few days after than you will be able to tell which are silkie feathered and which are not.

Uggghh I wanna know now LMAO I do know one thing the one has the most fluffy bear I have EVER seen on a Silkie bitty!!

I figured, but my mind was picturing a very large fluffy teddy bear!
