How many silkie hens do you have compared to roos? I mean I know that the large breed roosters can be quite aggresive with the ladies and more are needed to balance it out sometimes. Is this true in the case of silkies since they are smaller and calmer? I am sure the potential is there to have a meaner roo but on average do they tend to be nicer and not need as many females?
