Silkie question...

Hello there

These two silkies here, the buff and the grey in the front are the same age. I watched them both hatch, etc...But as you can so clearly see, the buff is ... a LOT bigger.
Is this because it is a boy? I have no idea...
I am new to the silkie world, and would love some help.
It would be great if he was in fact a Roo...

Love those silkies. I never had a roo. so ??????? cant help you there. I did hear that they were on the docile side as roos. The hens are extremely docile, and I still want one to add to my flock. My first chicken was a silkie many many moons ago. Hen.
OH..... AND

My silkies were both same age, breed n all but one was bigger. Also one had quite a nub for a walnut crown on its beak, the other was all afro. Turned out the big one with the fleshy nub on its beak just crowed it's first crows yesterday. I'll take a guess if you have a closeup pic of its face. But mind you I am very inexperienced.
