Heads up for your entry of the Porcelain's as everyone calls them. Do not put that on the entry for AOV color, it does not have a spangle and WILL get DQ'd. The judges do think it is more like the Blue Fawn of the call ducks an will accept & judge them as such, they may even accept them as a blue wheaton.
It is such a neat color and I hope it takes off like the Lav's did!

Vicky.... I'm not vaccinating the chickens at all. My silkies never get outside or have access to wild birds. Our waterfowl doesn't seem to be having a problem and I know I've seen stuff like woodducks and redheads swimming in their pond.

Connie... Yeah that MN BAH has been like this all year. They claim these rules have been in place all along, but why the sudden enforcement? You heard for yourself.... the BAH coordinator is making demands on us that aren't even in writing yet. What IS in writing so far, we'll have to enforce somehow. All the rest of the baloney that he wants.... the most we can do is request it. You saw my e-mail to the head people of the ABA. I think our show may be a bit smaller. Things might get really interesting at the show 2 weeks after ours though.... I turned in an entry form and will just have to laugh if Ziemer shows up there.

Thanks! Its hopefully going to get into the 20's this next week. Not sure if I should break out the shorts and t-shirts again or what. Record setting snowfall and now typical MN temps.... When I did chores yesterday morning it was -24 for an actual temp and felt lower due to the windchill.

My mountain blood is already frozen! But it's thawing... It was 37 degrees at 7 this morning, and I couldn't stand the heat from wearing a sweater!!! LOL
