Silkie; quite sure it's a girl, not sure about age...

Stormy is my first, and only Silkie. I already want more Stormy tends to stay on the fringes of the flock. She was a rescue, so I don't know her age, and she hasn't started laying or crowing yet. She is getting more feathers in, and it got me wondering if I will have to wait a while for eggs?

I know that, but I don't know how to tell sex on a Silkie, so I really am not positive on gender.

If it helps, this is my silkie cockerel razzle. He is a total fluffball. His sister dazzle, on the other hand, is less fluffy and more feathery. (I thought I had a good picture of her but I can't find it)

I had them backwards until dazzle laid her first egg last week.

Since you don't know the exact age, that one could go either way. I'm not seeing a lot of comb formation compared to the size of the bird, so I'll guess pullet. The tail makes me think male. I'm stumped.

Our head cockerel, Omen, just mounted Stormy today, so I'm guessing female

Our 8 month old cockerel just mounted our Silkie today, so I am assuming female at this point. I still have no idea about age.
