Silkie; quite sure it's a girl, not sure about age...

Stormy is my first, and only Silkie. I already want more😍 Stormy tends to stay on the fringes of the flock. She was a rescue, so I don't know her age, and she hasn't started laying or crowing yet. She is getting more feathers in, and it got me wondering if I will have to wait a while for eggs?

If it helps, this is my silkie cockerel razzle. He is a total fluffball. His sister dazzle, on the other hand, is less fluffy and more feathery. (I thought I had a good picture of her but I can't find it)

I had them backwards until dazzle laid her first egg last week.

Since you don't know the exact age, that one could go either way. I'm not seeing a lot of comb formation compared to the size of the bird, so I'll guess pullet. The tail makes me think male. I'm stumped.
Our 8 month old cockerel just mounted our Silkie today, so I am assuming female at this point. I still have no idea about age.
