Hi, I am booli and I have 3 silkies in Western Australia. I have been struggling to sex one of them and hence I found this site! Looking forward to getting to know my fellow chicken friends!!

Welcome!

You could try posting a picture on the What Breed or Gender Forum: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

Or on the Silkie Thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/297632/silkie-thread

I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

Thank you so much!

G'day Booli, glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. Silkies are very difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age., and sometimes NOT till they lay or crow.
