Silkie roo?

I still can't tell for sure even with the new photos. The comb is somewhat large, but not overly large for a 4-5 month old bird. Hopefully, someone with more experience sexing Silkies replies to this thread. If not, I think you'll have to wait until the bird either crows or lays an egg before knowing for sure.

I'm unsure of what the lady that breeds these crossed them with.. She was a breeder off Craigslist.org and just called them silkies: regular, smoothe(rose comb?) and sizzle feather. I've heard silkies being crossed with Cochin?? But I'm just throwing that out there I have no idea what I'm talking about... Thank you all for your opinion !! I guess we will know for sure when The time comes.

I think roo from the new pics but of course it is hard to tell for sure in Silkies until they crow or lay an egg.

I think roo also. In one of the pics(the full body shot I think I see streamers on his head which would indicate rooster. But it doesn't seem to have saddle or hackle feathers. So its a tough one. You may need to wait another month.

yeah, that's a rooster you have there. Pretty one though. I have a 'unknown but thought to be blue' silkie cockeral that is 3-4 months of age.

He was definitely a cocky roo lol started mounting the girls and crowing all times of the day and night. Can't have Roos legally in my area but we found him an awesome home on a farm with some extended family. He's got his mate Hotwings so hopefully we will see some cute chicks this next season :)
