Don't know why or how he gets in that position, until I look for him now as this has happened quite a few times.
Always struggling seems to be on his right side, wing always full out. He allows me to pick him up to upright him then shakes himsefl off
and run away seemingly unharmed. 1 day I looked out my window and saw him in his window down and being picked on with one of his siblings.
Again went out and righted him up and again went away like all was fine.
What can be causing this. I find it upsetting as I am not always by his side and I don't know how long it had been when I went to the coop to help him out.
They don't pick on him right away. I am new at this and hopefully pecking at him was thier way of trying to get him back up. Don't like the thought of trying to kill an inferior flock member.

Welcome To BYC

Can you get a video of his actions? Upload video to youtube and provide a link.

How old is he?
What do you feed?

Without seeing it, it's hard to know what's going on with him. Sounds like it may be a neurological issue. You can try giving 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. Give a little egg to help with the uptake of E. See that he's eating/drinking well.

Thank You for your reply. I do have a short vid on my phone, but never have I used YouTube to upload anything.
He was hatched this spring along with 2 other Silkies and 2 (your guess is probably better than mine. ) But really pretty birds. mom and Dad were also Silkies.. Mom was a polish by past.
