Hi guys, this silkie was sold to us at 14 weeks as guaranteed female. I just wanted to double check here as she looks completely different to our other two silkies who are the same age! Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance :love

I hope he is not a roo :fl I’ve just had to rehome two roosters and my little boy is so attached to this silkie.

If you want to know for sure, there is a place you can send in a feather for DNA sexing...it's like $12 I think? Will look for the link if you're interested.

What an excellent idea! I’m in Australia though so might take a while to get the results back lol might look for something similar here though! Thank you!

Very BIG comb - makes me think Rooster. If I hasn't crowed or laid an egg yet, I would really wonder
The silkie doesn’t show any dominance at all. If it was a rooster wouldn’t it be dominant over the hens? The top of the pecking order is an Isa Brown hen. Quite a mystery :barnie
