Silkie rooster with regular chickens?

I have been thinking about trying to breed the "perfect" chicken for me. I want ones that look pretty, are cold and heat tolerant, and are friendly. I was thinking about getting a silkie rooster but can they breed with normal chickens? I know they are a bit smaller (at least my cousin's were) and wondered if the height difference would be...ahem... a problem

Well they actually can quite successfully mate with larger chickens. You may want to get a silkie that’s a bit bigger than normal if you are able to. Should be easy to find one, people give away roosters left and right!
