Haha here's a good one.... buff cockerel, ~8 months old, shown last year as a pullet and took best of variety at a decent sized show, as we were cooping out...it learned how to crow! Surprise!!! Within the next few weeks it got streamers and sounded like a beagle learning how to crow. Talk about a late bloomer...

splash trio, ~10 months old each, my little sister took them as a 4-H project last year and they took ch. breeding pen and overall ch. chicken at the fair level; I showed them at a few open shows later that fall and the pullets got BV & RV a few times
