We have confirmation at 8.5 weeks that we have all cockerels. They are beautiful but we can’t have them in the city. They already have a wonderful loving home waiting for them, they are close by so we can visit our little gentlemen often. ❤️

I’m curious as well! Do you order the test online and send it in? Or is this at the vet?
You send them samples. Either blood, feathers with root or egg shell. I chose blood because I felt it was better to quick a nail once rather than possibly having to pull out several feathers.
I cut the nail and put 10-15 drops of blood on each sample page (one per bird). I received email reports on which ones were male and which were female.

We actually did the feather dna test and recurved results back already! We had one roo and two pullets 😊
