hi everyone, i am realitively new to the silkies so i am enjoying everyones posts and pics! i currently have 2 silkies, and im still trying to determine their gender! i will post pics as soon as i am able to

Greetings to all you Silkie experts !
Can anybody tell me what the possible coloration of offspring from a black roo X dark buff(solid bright gold) hen ? I got a couple odd colored chicks that look like silkies but dun colored with black chipmunk striping. Or did somebody jump the fence & lay a blue cochin X black silkie roo egg ?The anticipation is killing me ! Parent stock is of hatchery origin so maybe anything is possible ???

Thanks joe17 ! That gives me a starting place ! Really glad I may actually have another color instead of a mutt ! As a generality, do partridges start out with chipmunk striping ???? THANKS !

My three 4 month old silkies. Blue, splash, and white. I don't have any ideas about the genders yet and i'm taking guesses!

I have individual body and head pictures of each, too if anyone wants to guess the gender.
