sorry to hear hope next time will be better

I too have been known to trim topknots on my silkies .I only do it when I see one that is having trouble finding their way around. I dont show and although they are so beautiful with full topknots we have lots of hawks and eagles so my first concern has to be for the safety of my flock.

CUTE!!! I see a chick!! It's flopping all over the place! The other eggs are rocking, and sure look like they are doing something in there. :) So funny, I can hear you talking -- but my kids have the tv up loud enough I can't hear what you're saying. This live egg video is COOL!!! How did you do this? Did you have to buy a little PC camera that hooks to your computer?? Tell me your set up.

As you know, it's early in the season for our part of the world and the birds were not "shaved" to help with transmission. I'm obviously just going to have to wait until later in the season - and for some cosmetic work!

I'm worried too! I was looking around their vents to see if things are "working" and the ladies look okay, but I think I'll need to trim my roo up a bit around his vent. He is SUPER fluffy. I don't know how he can do his job at all!? But the eggs we ate-- they did have bullseyes, so I'm going to hope that the ones I've been collecting are fertile, too.

Okay experts, critique this guy for me please. I know, he's only 9wks old and I say "he" to be on the safe side. lol
Seriously though, I would like to breed and maybe show whites so if anyone has the time please feel free to point
out the good, the bad, the ugly. I show dogs and my feelings do not get hurt;-)

Is that wing loose or is it just a baby thing? Could it change?

Almost looks split but isn't when spread out...?

Thanks in advance!
