Couldn't resist adding some pics of my now three week old babies:)

Abby..or Toni.. I cant tell them apart yet lol

Is there a reason you don't put him in with all of them? You aren't hatching the eggs are you?

The two boys don't get along. I actually wasn't sure if I was going to keep the really PQ one, but he's turned out to be really sweet, and now I hate to part with him, and I already have an empty coop and run I can use for him, he just needs a girlfriend.

NO!!! Way too much risk of dying him purple or blue. Trust me, you do NOT want that. If you are ever tempted to try this, do it on a bird that is NOT heading to a show anytime before its next molt.

White vinegar and/or stain remover such as Resolve or Shout, or a laundry detergent with non-chloride bleach and a tooth brush will help the dingy areas. Apply a little of which ever product you prefer, brush in with the toothbrush, let it set for a good while, then wash out with warm water. Repeat as needed.

I'd have replied earlier, but I was out running errands, and having my car's battery die on me

LOL!! Glad you stopped me! My luck he would have been purple! ha!! Okay, I do have Resolve and white vinegar, etc... so I might start with the resolve and see how that goes. Thank you for the tip!! That would have been terrible!

ETA-- oh, so sorry your battery died! That is NO bueno! I hate being stuck. It's been raining here 3 days straight-- and that would be the WORST.

That is such a cute picture! The dog looks so tiny compared to the giant chick!

If I put a tarp over the top of the chicken run do you think it would be safe to let them out? Or would they still get to wet? I am so sick of this rain.

Oh, of course. Well, I would just try it. My silkies don't seen to mind moving from one pen to another. They start cratching around almost immediately.
