Oh! Your babies are BEAUTIFUL! I love the colors (Partridge fan, here) and they look so happy! Congratulations!!!!Hi there, I'm a newbie this spring/summer is my first with chicks. Mine aren't nearly as beautiful as the Silkies I've seen on this thread, but to me they're my Beautiful lil Fluffer Butts and I love them Haaaa !!! I'd love to share some pix to see what people think of my chicks but have no Idea how to earn permission to post. Any input would be helpful...otherwise I guess I'll just keep adding to my albums. Have a Great Day Peeps~!~
Do any of you guys have Sizzles and or Frizzles? How do they get along with the Silkies? I'm thinking of looking into some Frizzle hens, maybe Sizzles, to add to our Silkie flock. Good idea? What I've read about the breeds, they should get along just fine, right? Especially the Sizzles?
It's looks girl to me and add behavior and that would pretty much clinch it. Make sure the lack of activity isn't a lack of visibility. Very nice juvenile!!
looks girly to me
Looks like a girl to me, and that comb is very girlie, too. Beautiful bird!
HERE IS BREWSTER MY CUCKOO ROOI have cuckoos as too and have the red comb and lighter skin as well. I haven't seen that many of the cuckoo with out the red?? I have two young cuckoo's coming up now (F1 from my original cuckoo rooster) I will take them to some excellent quality hens with nice dark combs when of age and see what the next offspring come out with. Not ready to part with mine as of yet, one of them happens to be a gorgeous blue cuckoo.
