even with the steel posts? Also, when the tarp is on it has about a 45 degree incline on all sides so wouldn't the snow just fall off?
yes snow can knock over t post and not snow well sit on it just like ruff of a house and tarp sage so at some point the snow well stick even it the 45 % agle keep some off

it might work if we have winter like last year but not if we have bad winter and the tarp well rip the middle post is only thing holding it up

Otherwise they will be living indoors. Also I have tested the coop for predators, I intentionally set my friend's dog on the coop because she was completely crazy about getting in and killing them. Before anyone says anything she WAS on a leash just a loose one so she could test for weak spots. Needless to say she couldn't get in.

a raccoon will dig under that and go in.
