And there are more chicks coming.
In the bator are 20 eggs. And i have another 20 eggs coming in a month.
And my pullet is finaly laying eggs again to.
When i saw a silkie the first time i knew i wanted one. They are very sweet and like to be cuddled.
The chicks come since they were 3 days old to my dohters pre school every week, the kids love them.
I'am going to show my chickens and i will be teaching them some tricks.
At the and of the summer i will have white, black and motteld (bont in dutch) chickens.
They are all (going te be) beardless and bantam.

Thanks! So your best choice would be blues??? I know this is a dumb question, but blue look almost black and not more on the gray side, right? I believe I have some young up and coming blues if so. I have some older gray males. Are they an option to breed with a splash?

Blue silkies can be light(think Russian Blue Cat) to almost Black in color. A grey Silkie looks like a Chinchilla except in a chicken suit.

LOL So gray would be more of a uniform color then like the chinchilla. These guys sure have me confused. I will post some pics of what I thought were grays. Thanks for helping me sort through this! I am needing to rehome some of my roos because I hatched out so many and this is really helping me decide who to keep!!!
