Silkie thread!

Well i got home and there is another egg next to the first one in a nest like indention with a couple of poos next to the eggs as if someone had been sitting there awhile. i had to clean out the little coop, so i wrote the date on each egg. i and put them back. When I went in to check tonight, the girls were all asleep in a pile, and the eggs were still in the box. I took the girl that layed them and set her in the box and she moved the eggs around a bit and laid down. Hens are weird, I can't tell what she is doing.

Okay, picture heavy, but I'm really trying to figure out what these young babies are. They are 11 weeks old, and I can't have Roos. I have some people on my home state thread that are offering to buy some from me, but I don't want to give them a Pullet and end up with a Roo. Can anyone tell me their colors too. I didn't think I would have such awesome colors, I just thought there was normal solid black, buff and white. Sorry they are kind of dirty, we've had tons of rain lately.

Is this one a Blue? Starting to get silver on the neck though.

Blue Splash? I think this one could be a Roo, starting to get copper coming in just this week.

What color is this one... Blue Splash or a Partridge.

I don't know what to call this one. Almost a cream color, with blue feathers on the head

The last one looks like porcelain. If you are near me and want to find them a great home I would like to buy the or just give a good home for your roosters. Or if you ship. one

First 4 are grey or silver partridge. The one you think is a roo looks like a blue with autosomal red the next one looks like a grey with autosomal red and the last one looks porcelain to me. They are pretty little balls of fluff :)

Is there anyway I can tell their sex, or are they still too young. Sorry, first time Silkie owner and I don't really know what to look for. I do have a few people here local that are really interested in them, I just don't want to give away my pullets, since I can't have Roos, and I'm planning on keeping 2. Thanks

I really like the lighter one..
Our 3 that we kept have turned out nice.. Our rooster, Kent is a partridge and Karen a buff. They all look like a lighter buff.. 2 pullet's
& I rooster.. No names yet
Thanks :) I gave them a bath last night, I've had them isolated on watch for health issues. The did not like it but took it very well, they fluffed out nicely under the heat lamp. I moved them into the big brooder to grow up a bit before moving them out to the flock. I had a response that the buff is a pullet and the white a roo. This should be interesting if thats the case I have two 9 wk old silkie in the flock now and a Welsummer roo hatching Monday and arriving Tuesday.
