Silkie thread!



It's one continuous strip of elastic that is laced through a small pocket folded and sewn. To put it on you'd stretch one side open and carefully slip the wing through, then stretch it in the other direction and slip it over the other wing. Center the apron and even up each loop so it's comfortable without being too tight under each wing. Sorry it's so grubby, I took it off to wash it and take a photo for you.

3 days in on incubation, and I think I 'might' see something in one of the eggs. I know it is too early to tell, but why not try, right? LOL if these are fertile I'm going to be super excited.

One looked like it has a damaged air sack though :(
 
I have a question I am selling two of my silkie hens they are non bearded. What should I ask for them I am putting them on craiglist to sell they both are about 2 yrs old

Are they good layers? They are pet quality.
