Better pic of gray primaries growing in.
Again sorry for the load of pictures!
They are all so cute - but I snipped a few pictures to prevent loading up the page with overloads of cuteness!

Chance is a cutie, I am glad she knows how to walk now. Please and keep taking pictures of the gray/white one - perhaps its one of those oddball Blues that don't start out as expected. I can't recall - but is it possible with your combination to get Splash? I haven't seen many pictures of those chicks so I don't know if they can start out that way or not.

Of course I had to leave in my favorite color too.. Partridge!

Lol I'm glad you snipped it a bit. It was a lot of pics. The little one growing the gray feathers is very interesting to me. All of the ones with the striping like it are getting white feathers. Yes splash is possible with this breeding, but I have no idea if a splash chick can start out with striping so we will see. Silkies start the awkward phase early. Still cute, but you would never imagine they turn into those beautiful fluff balls.

You should really wait until all teh eggs have hatched that are going to hatch or you could harm the ones who haven't yet. I like to leave them in at least until dry, they can go up to 3 days after they hatch on just the yolk.
The other chicks hatching will not even pip until 5-7 days after it hatches, and I have family coming to take care of it while I am out of town...

here are my silkies i got a while ago. a white and a partridge correct my if I'm wrong. i bought them as a pair to breed. i soon found out the white had bad leg but wasn't too worried and then my pullet matured into a beautiful cockerel. I'll have too post some more resent pics of the partridge. on a side note any one know of any SQ silkie hens in my
