This is my Grey Showgirl, Jewell. Hopefully a girl, 10wks old. Any other Showgirl I've hatched have all been white, even when the Roo was black.

Boy do i want a showgirl. Hope to hatch some for the hatchalong in easter. Love the turkey and other birds in the background. they look like they have a TON of space!

This am everything was frozen over and 23* on my way to work it was so foggy it looked like it snow. We did have flurries yesterday. The sun did come out and thaw everything so its back to 4 inches of mud.

Brrr! Why does winter have to be so... Cold?

I don't mind the cold if every thing wasn't muddy. I winterized my coop, put down all new shavings right before Thanksgiving. 3 days later it flooded and the entire barn yard is still standing in water and mud.

So walked out to the coop this morning and heard an awkward crow.... Surprise.... Turns out I now have 3 roosters.
