Well I went and traded 5 of my white silkies for 2 black fizzle\silkie cross 2 buff silkies and 1 grey silkie they are so cute. I have a question about the buff roo that I got. He has light colored irises and lighter colored skin. Is this normal? Or is he a cross also? Also is it ok to breed the fizzle\silkie mix with my full silkies?

He probably is a cross (Sizzle). And yes. I breed my crosses back to silkies to get a better body type on my sizzles. Just never breed the Frizzled sizzles to each other.
ETA; U can breed the smooth sizzles to the silkies or Frizzled sizzles. And Frizzled sizzles to silkies.

I have decided to re-home 3 of my chicks that are pet quality. I'm asking $30 for the three, but will add another chick in at no charge to give each age a buddy. Two are going to be 5 weeks this coming saturday and one is 8 weeks. The two 5 week olds will need a heat source and cuddles since they are still with momma. I don't typically sell chicks, but I'm running out of space and these are just garden flowers. They have flaws which I won't use for breeding. I'm in northern Indiana and I don't ship, so for some of you, I know pick up isn't possible, but if someone is interested close by, let me know. :)
These are the three...

Go on the BYC Indiana state thread to post your available Silkies if they can only be picked up and not shipped.
